James C. Melville, DDS, FACS, is Assistant Professor of Surgery in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Oral, Head & Neck Oncology and Reconstructive Surgery at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston, Houston, Texas, USA. He graduated from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry, Ann Arbor, MI, in 2005 and subsequently completed a General Practice Residency at the University of California San Francisco (UCSF) in 2006 and was appointed and served as an Assistant Professor until 2007. He completed a residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in 2012 and then a Fellowship in Oral, Head & Neck Oncology and Microvascular Reconstructive Surgery at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital.
