He has personally reported over 200,000 radiological studies involving a wide variety of imaging techniques.

Having completed his specialist training in oral and maxillofacial radiology at the University of Toronto, Bernard now holds the position of Clinical Professor at the University of Western Australia, where he coordinates and delivers the oral and maxillofacial radiology lectures for the undergraduate and postgraduate courses.
