Douglas Tyler, MD, MSHCT, currently holds the John Woods Harris Distinguished Chair in Surgery at the University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB) in Galveston, where he is also a Professor and Chairman of the Department of Surgery. He also holds an Adjunct Professor appointment at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center in the Department of Surgical Oncology.
